Schedule for JUNE

Please note all classes are provided FREE of charge. You may need to

provide your own supplies. Contact us at plcconnection@gmail if you have any questions. To register for a class OR to request that we organize a particular class just write to us at this address. Please, share this information with those who do not have Internet access or those for whom we do not yet have an email address.

PLEASE NOTE: With summer coming the walking times are changing to 7pm for Mondays and Wednesdays, 11am for Fridays. This not only avoids the intense heat of the day but also allows those who work and those who needed a babysitter to join the group.

June 1, Wednesday  - Walking at 7pm  - Meet at the community room

                                   Tee shirt painting – 7pm – 8:30pm (for adults)

June 3, Friday - Walking at 11am

                                   After school movie 3:30 – 5:15

June 4, Saturday – Paupack Township Spring Clean Up  8am – 12pm * please note

                                  that we were originally told a different time.

                                  Community Room open for fun and games

                                  All ages 1PM – 4PM

                                  Adults only 7PM – 11PM*

                        

June 6, Monday – Walking at 7pm - Meet at the community center – Come join us!

June 8, Wednesday - Walking at 7pm

                                Needlecrafts 7pm – 8:30pm

June 10, Friday – Walking at 11am

                              After school Movie 3:30 – 5:15pm     

                              High School students get-together in community room 8pm-11pm

                              This activity will take place ONLY if there is a response from the high

                              school students that they want to be part of the planning and that they

Important Spring Cleanup Information

Spring Cleanup

It’s time to get out and clean up. We would like to bring two things to your attention to help you get your home in order. Please share this information with neighbors for whom we do not have contact information.

JUNE 4 is the Paupack Twp. Spring Cleanup date. Bring your items to the parking lot of the township office from 8am – 12pm.

Perhaps some of you saw a notice posted on our lake bulletin board. It was a offer to pick up, free of charge, the following items:

·       Junk cars

·       Motors

·       Batteries

·       Tractors

·       Air conditioners

·       Aluminum

·       Old grills

·       All metal

Call Steve (570 499-7156) to make arrangements for a free pickup. We contacted him and he is anxious to hear from you.

Community Flea Market Update

Update on Community Flea Market

The Paupackan Lake Community Connection has reconsidered the cost of renting a space and table for the flea market. Space for the flea market will be FREE.  Since we have a limited number of tables (6 long tables - 5 picnic tables), they will be offered free of charge on a first come first served basis. We have already heard from members who have reserved a table when there was cost associated with it. They are entitled to one table. If you need a table respond to this post or email (plcconnection@gmail.com) to reserve. We will notify you if we have a table for you.

The day of the flea market we will need to collect 1 or 2 dollars (depending on the number participating) from each set up to pay for advertising. Spaces are available to community members and their families/friends only. The advertising is for buyers only. We are not recruiting sellers.

The sale will be scheduled from 9am - 2pm.
